LES ENFANTS DU MARCHE LA TABLE

Les Enfants du Marché is a trendy-bistronomic institution located in the Enfants Rouges market in Paris. Since this summer, the Parisian table has been exporting and opening a second address in the heart of Biarritz strongly reproducing what we love about them: a cuisine that is both raw and delicate, fine and balese.

Yes, we agree that the prices are a little salty compared to the quantities on the plate. And yet, it's always full! The reason? That's good, period.

The grilled octopus is perfectly cooked, the summer vegetables are crunchy, the mussels with Basque blue leave us cold, what a pleasure. Add to that the big dose of energy emerging from a joyful dawa with a touch of dglingo and the deal is on the plate. Be careful, reservation is recommended!

ETXE NAMI

In a small street hidden behind the Saint-Jean-de-Luz train station, there is a place that doesn't make any noise but that grabs you right in the heart: Etxe Nami.

A Basquanese restaurant (meaning Basque and Japanese, yes yes, this marriage at first glance improbable and finally obvious) that welcomes you as if you were coming home. Normal: Etxe means house in Basque, and Nami, in Japanese, refers to what is beautiful, pleasant, fluid.

Here, Japanese delicacy flirts with the Basque temperament. The result: plates full of colour, crunch, seasonality, and that little " cuddly on the plate " side. It comforts as much as it surprises. And then the homemade drinks — iced teas, lemonades, sweet potions — that come down like a caress and make you feel like your body is saying thank you.

To sum up: we eat well, we feel good, and we leave with only one idea in mind... to come back.
